In September 2026, 108 Military Central Hospital successfully performed a left ventricular assist device (LVAD) implantation using the new-generation CorHeart 6 device for a patient with severe heart failure. This marks the first successful CorHeart 6 implantation in Vietnam, representing another step forward in mechanical circulatory support and offering an additional treatment option for patients awaiting heart transplantation.
