Veteran cyclist Hoang Hai Nam claimed the gold medal in the men’s 60+ individual time trial (10.7 km) in the amateur category at the 2025 Asian Road Cycling Championship. This marks Vietnam’s first participation in an amateur event at the continental level, making it a milestone for the nation's cycling scene. The championship, part of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) system, is taking place in Thailand from February 7 to 16, 2025.
