Member of the 13th Party Central Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Government Office Tran Van Son was appointed Minister-Chairman of the Government Office at the 11th session of the 14th National Assembly on April 8.

Standing Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs at the 11th session of the 14th National Assembly.

Politburo member Nguyen Xuan Phuc was elected as President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at the 11th session of the 14th National Assembly on April 5 in Hanoi.

The 11th sitting, also the last meeting of the 14th National Assembly, kicked off in Hanoi on March 24 morning. The deputies are scheduled to gather at plenary sessions for 12 days, scheduled to end on April 8.

The seventh session of the 14th National Assembly (NA) opened at the NA Hall in Hanoi on May 20.
