Doctors in Vietnam have performed over 1,000 organ transplants per year over the past two years, making the country the leader in Southeast Asia in the number of organ transplants annually. This achievement reflects significant advancements in the expertise, technical skills, and experience of Vietnam's healthcare sector in the sector.
Decision No. 370/QD-TTg dated May 4, 2024, issued by the Prime Minister sets the goal of developing the Southeast Region into a civilized, modern, and dynamically developing area; becoming a leading centre in the country and in the Southeast Asian region in terms of economy, finance, education, training, science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
In its April 2024 Asian Development Outlook (ADO) report, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has maintained its earlier forecast for Vietnam’s economic growth this year, despite ongoing uncertainties from the external environment. Vietnam’s economy is expected to achieve a growth rate of 6.0% in 2024 and 6.2% in 2025.
