The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has set a target of Vietnam’s total coffee plantation area reaching 640,000 - 660,000 hectares by 2030, with exports expected to account for 80-85% of the country’s total production.

Vietnam remained the second-largest coffee exporter in the world from February 2021 to January 2022, according to the International Coffee Organisation.

The 8th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival is scheduled to take place in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak from March 10 to 14 with a wide range of activities.
