CPI in first 9 months of 2020 up 3.85%

Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the first 9 months of 2020 increases by 3.85% compared to the same period last year.

CPI increases by 0.07 percent

As reported by the General Statistics Office, Vietnam’s consumer price index (CPI) slightly went up 0.07 percent month-on-month in August due to the impacts of heavy rainfalls nationwide and rise in domestic rice and education service prices. The figure was down 0.12 percent from December and up 3.18 percent annually.

CPI up 4.19 percent in first half

The consumer price index (CPI) saw a year-on-year increase of 4.19% in the first six months of 2020, reaching the peak in the 2016-2020 period, the General Statistics Office (GSO) reported.

CPI down 1.54%, lowest in 2016-2020 period

CPI is down 1.54% month-on-month in April 2020, marking the lowest level in 2016-2020 period.

CPI rises to the highest level since 2013

CPI in January 2020 increased by 1.23% compared to December 2019 and up 6.43% compared to January 2019.
