The total export turnover of agricultural, forestry, and fisheries products in the first three months of 2024 is estimated to reach 13.53 billion USD, an increase of 21.8% compared to the same period of 2023.
Vietnam’s agricultural sector has set a growth target of 3.2-4 percent for 2024, with total agro-forestry-fishery export turnover of 54-55 billion USD.
Vietnam’s agro-forestry-fishery exports reached over 53 billion USD in 2023, posting a record trade surplus of 11 billion USD, or over 42.5% of Vietnam’s total trade surplus.

The export turnover of agriculture, forestry and aquaculture in the first seven months of 2020 was estimated at 22.3 billion USD, a decrease of 2.8 percent year-on-year.
During the first seven months of 2019, eight groups of agro-forestry-aquatic products posted export turnover of over one billion USD, making up 75% of total export turnover of the sector.
