The Lunar New Year 2025 tourism season has seen exceptional growth. Accommodation searches from international tourists for Vietnam have surged by 139%.

The total number of international tourists in 2023 is estimated at 12.5 million, meeting the targeted 12.5-13 million foreign arrivals for the year. Total revenue from tourism is expected to be 672 trillion VND (28 billion USD), exceeding the plan by 3.38%.

Vietnam welcomed nearly 3.7 million international tourists in the first three months of 2020, down 18.1 percent from the same period last year. The number of tourists from all markets experiences decreases except for African market.

Vietnam welcomed a record 1.8 million foreign arrivals in November, according to General Statistics Office.
