National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man pays an official visit to Russia and co-chairs the third meeting of the Vietnam-Russia Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Committee.

Vietnam and Russia share a longstanding friendship and a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Vietnam considers its relationship with Russia strategically important, designating the country as a top priority in its foreign policy. Similarly, Russia views Vietnam as a reliable partner and one of its primary priorities in the Asia-Pacific region.

Vietnam-Russia relationship has been developing on the foundation of the two nations’ close friendship over the past 70 years.
