Vietnam, Dominican Republic strengthening cooperation

At the invitation of Dominican President Luis Rodolfo Abinader Corona and his spouse, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his spouse, accompanied by a high-level Vietnamese delegation, pay an official visit to the Dominican Republic from November 19 to 21, 2024. This visit holds significant importance as it marks the first official trip by a Vietnamese leader to the Dominican Republic, taking place ahead of the 20th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two nations.
